A strong cooperation between the police and public prosecutors enables a more efficient prosecution of defendants charged in corruption cases. This theme was studied by officials from the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission and the Palestinian Civil Police, who has just returned from a three-day long study visit to Sweden. The study visit was organized by EUPOL COPPS to facilitate a better understanding of the cooperation between the police and the prosecution in criminal cases concerning corruption.
Thanks to the EU funded programme EUPOL COPPS Palestinians learned best anti-corruption practices from Sweden.
