In order to show that cooperation beyond competition is not only possible, but also necessary, the ENI CBC Med Programme, together with the Spanish Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Finance, are organising the online event “The agri-food industry beyond competition: stories of Mediterranean cooperation and debate on the main challenges of the sector”, that will take place on 20 July from 10.00 AM to 12:30 AM CEST (Rome time).
Participants will have the opportunity to hear the views and insights of institutional representatives and experts of the agriculture and cooperation sectors,
In addition, the event will showcase successful cooperation stories implemented under ENI CBC Med projects, namely InnoAgroWoMed, MedSNAIL and ORGANIC ECOSYSTEM.
The event will also feature the voice of Mediterranean young people who will share their views on the challenges related to the agri-food sector and debate with two Mediterranean experts (from Spain and Tunisia).
Finally, funding opportunities for cooperation projects in the agri-food sector under the future Interreg NEXT MED Programme will be outlined.
