TEC-MED model to address elderly’s needs in Lebanon and Tunisia

In order to apply the TEC-MED model in the communities, an online platform was established to serve as a tool to implement the social care model among the elderly and a group of professionals (training agents) working with them in public and private practice.

Two examples fro TEC-MED partners in Lebanon and Tunisia show how the project will facilitate the work of training agents will become agents of change and advocate elderly people affairs following the training they will receive.

The TEC-MED model is a theoretical framework that was developed through a thorough participatory process involving all partner countries in the project (Spain, Greece, Tunisia, Egypt, and Lebanon). It aims to have a common transcultural social ethical care model to support elderly people across different countries in the Mediterranean.
