The 2nd edition of the Petra National Trust Heritage Award is officially launched

Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Dana Firas and in partnership with the European Delegation in Jordan and Jordan Kuwait Bank, The 2nd edition of the PNT Heritage Award is officially launched. The PNT Heritage Award is an annual award that seeks to identify and promote best practices in the preservation and promotion of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, increase public awareness and appreciation of Jordan’s cultural heritage and encourage excellence in cultural practice through the power of example.

The Petra National Trust (PNT) is committed to preserving Jordan’s cultural heritage. Following the success of the PNT Heritage Award 2024, which recognized outstanding efforts in cultural preservation, the award aims to further support innovative projects that protect tangible, intangible, and digital heritage in Jordan. The PNT Heritage Award will highlight projects that not only preserve heritage but also address sustainability, climate action, and community engagement.

 

Last day for submissions is on April 15th 2025

The award ceremony will be held on June 18th 2025

The Award is presented by the Petra National Trust
