These country profiles, written in French for Algeria, Lebanon and Tunisia, are the result of a tireless work of data update carried out in 2019 by national experts’ teams from APRUE (the Algerian National Agency for the Promotion and Rationalisation of Energy Use), ANME (the Tunisian National Agency for Energy Management), and ALMEE (the Lebanese Association for Energy Saving and for Environment), members of MEDENER, the Mediterranean Association of the National Agencies for Energy Management, in the framework of meetMED project, funded by the European Commission.
They are compiled in a file entitled MED’OBSERVEER, designed to map out for each country the most relevant indicators to measure the impact of energy efficiency policies. A regional report is also available online.
The different teams will keep working to enrich and analyse the work that will feed the national strategies.
