A seminar on accessibility of disabled persons will be held on 10-11 July 2016 in Algeria in the framework of the EU-funded Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument (TAIEX).
The aim of the seminar, which will be attended by 70 representatives of relevant ministries and national authorities, is to exchange ideas and best practices on the creation of a nondiscriminatory environment for disabled persons.
TAIEX is the Technical Assistance and Information Exchange instrument of the European Commission. It supports public administrations with regard to the approximation, application and enforcement of EU legislation as well as facilitating the sharing of EU best practices.
