Brussels VI Conference on Syria: new civil society consultation launched

In May 2022, the European Union and the UN will co-chair the 6th Brussels Conference on supporting the future of Syria and the Region where the international community will address the situation in Syria, reconfirm political commitments mobilise financial support.

Members of civil society active in Syria and the neighbouring countries, local authorities, activists, Syrian refugees & diaspora, this call is for you: share your views and participate in the survey by 7 April.

The Brussels Conferences have over the years become an opportunity to reassert the international community’s continued support to the UN and the UN Special Envoy’s efforts for a negotiated political solution to the Syrian conflict in line with UN Security Council Resolution 2254.

They also serve to mobilise necessary financial support to meet needs of Syrians and their host communities, as well as to pursue and deepen dialogue with civil society.
