TunisiaCinema: 8 new European films to be premiered during European film weeks in Morocco
The 27th edition of European Film Weeks in Morocco will be held from 11 November to 3 December 2019 in Marrakech, Tanger, Casablanca and Rabat. Eight selected and awards winning in the most prestigious international cinematography festivals feature length films and 3 south Mediterranean short films will be screened.
” If European Film Weeks in Morocco are attracting more audience from Rabat, Casabalnca, Marrakesh and Tangier year after year, it is for the quality requirement which has always been boosting our will to present the best of European cinema and to get acquainted with the latest trends in European filmmaking”, stated Claudia Wiedey, Head of the Europen Union (EU) Delegation to Morocco.
EU-funded initiative, the European Film Weeks in Morocco are organised on an annual basis since 1991, in cooperation with the embassies and cultural institutes of EU Member States located in Morocco. It aims to build and develop the cultural links between the EU and Morocco and to contribute to a better understanding of European values through the European film industry.
