European Union and Egyptian officials launched the second phase of the EU-funded MED TEST-II regional programme on Thursday 7 April 2016. This programme aims to facilitate the shift towards “Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP)” so that economic development and satisfaction of human needs are decoupled from environmental degradation.
The EU has allocated EUR 22 million for this project under the European Neighbourhood & Partnership Instrument (ENPI).
