The institutional Twinning Spain-France-Algeria to reinforce the capacity of the Algerian Civil Protection services came to an end last week. The different partners of the project considered its results satisfactory. The Twinning was carried out in the framework of the Support Programme to the Implementation of the Association Agreement (P3A) between Algeria and the EU.
The EU granted €1.5 million to the Twinning. It involved about 150 French and Spanish experts and enabled the training of more than 1400 officers of the Algerian Civil Protection.
