The EU-funded PASA Algeria organised a four-day training on group moderation from 20 to 23 December. This training is the third of a series of three trainings of trainers in the framework of the Qualification Programme for National Advisors in Value Chain Development with the Value Links 2.0. approach.

The moderator’s skills, the preparation of a multi-stakeholder workshop, moderation techniques in groups’ management, and the moderation of remote workshops with a simulation of a remote value chain meeting are the main skills that the 18 participants have acquired in this training.

The Support Programme to the Agricultural Sector, including water management, agro-industry and agricultural pollution (PASA) is co-funded by the European Union in Algeria on the basis of two principles: the development of an “agriculture and agri-food value chain” approach as a tool for local economic dynamics and territorial and national governance; and the mobilization and capacity building for a better competitiveness of the economic actors.
