The EU delegation to Syria organised a two-day workshop to discuss ways to improve resilience, food security and livelihoods through new programmes and activities.
Addressing the organisations and partners operating in the country, Dan Stoenescu, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. to Syria, stated: “As we are operating in a very complex and challenging environment, it is of utmost importance to strengthen the community in Syria through close partnership with the civil society. Through our engagement with local communities, the EU remains committed to mobilising human and economic resources and create tailored-made responses to the crisis.”
