“Find the Mediterranean in your city” is a photo contest organized by the Interreg NEXT MED Programme to celebrate the third edition of the Mediterranean Day – promoted by the Union for the Mediterranean – which takes place every year on the 28th of November.

Young photography enthusiasts between 18 and 30 years old from the 15 Mediterranean countries participating in the Interreg NEXT MED Programme (Algeria, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Malta, Palestine, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia, Türkiye) are invited to participate in this celebration of Mediterranean culture, beauty and history.

Every city corner tells a story. Whether it’s the naming of streets to honor Mediterranean figures, the vibrant mosaics, ancient ruins of empires, or the diverse food specialties, the Mediterranean’s influence transcends boundaries. It’s an exploration of cultural imprints that invite you to look closer, beyond the obvious and discover hidden stories.

  • Contest Highlights:
