On Wednesday 13 April 2016, the association of Mediterranean Energy Regulators (MEDREG) met in Madrid with the Mediterranean Association of the National Agencies for Energy Conservation (MEDENER), the ‘Observatoire Méditerranéen de l’Energie’ (OME) and Renewable Energy Solutions for the Mediterranean (RES4MED) to brainstorm on how technical stakeholders, particularly regulators, could contribute to the grid integration of renewable energy sources (RES) and on energy efficiency (EE) measures adopted in the Mediterranean basin.
