We have become aware of the rulings handed down today by the Count of the European Union, on the subject of the decisions of the Council of the European Union regarding the conclusion of amendments to Protocols 1 and 4 of the European Union-Morocco Association Agreement on agricultural and other products, on one hand, and the sustainable fisheries partnership agreement, on the other.

We will take the necessary measures to provide a legal framework that guarantees the continuity and stability of trade relations between the European Union and the Kingdom of Morocco.

We are making every effort to ensure ongoing cooperation between the European Union and the Kingdom of Morocco in a climate of serenity and engagement, in order to consolidate the Euro-Moroccan Partnership for Shared Prosperity, launched in June 2019. We will continue to work to develop multiple aspects of this strategic partnership, in the same spirit of commitment, cohesion and solidarity. Furthermore, this equal partnership is founded on a solid bilateral relationship between the Kingdom of Morocco and the European Union, based on trust and mutual respect, while simultaneously helping strengthen this relationship and relationships with the Member States.
