In the context of the global health crisis, the EU Delegation to Jordan is launching a new social media campaign: #OurResponse. This campaign highlights the initiatives of EU-funded projects in response to the coronavirus and salutes the efforts of those citizens who are facing this pandemic with creativity and courage.

Among these inspirational stories in response to coronavirus, the initiative of the EU-funded project, Shamal Start FabLab, which has partnered with TechWorks to design open source face shields and emergency respirators for hospitals and workers of local health.

Similarly, the EU-funded “Decentralization & Local Development Support Program (DLDSP)” implemented by UNDP, developed a new module on Entrepreneurship as an addition to the ongoing Master’s degree on Local Administration & Development. In partnership with The Hague Academy & the University of Jordan, the module was virtually developed, connecting Jordanian & European professors to deliver the final product, including curriculum, literature list & teaching guidelines. Once approved, the course should start in the upcoming summer.
