PPI4MED in Tunisia prepared a training on public procurement of innovation and technology transfer

PPI4MED in Tunisia, represented by the National Agency for the Promotion of  Scientific Research (ANPR), organised a three-day training course on public procurement of innovation and technology transfer as part of the PPI4MED project. 

 

This training course, which took place from 26-28 July 2023, provided researchers and project partners with key information on the financial, legal, and technical aspects of public procurement of innovation and technology transfer.

 

The trainers raised several important points during the course, such as the legislative obstacles that can prevent the public procurement of innovation, the financial aspects of the contract and the intellectual property rights of the innovation patent. They also stressed the importance of fostering strategic economic sectors through the procurement of innovation.
