European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is on her first official visit to to Morocco.
Upon her arrival, she met Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita.She will also meet the head of government Aziz Akhannouch.
This visit is the first of President von der Leyen to the Kingdom of Morocco, a strategic and solid partner of the European Union. The President wishes to deepen relations between the EU and Morocco as neighbours, partners and friends.
