The REUSEMED project will help embed the practice of reuse in new policies throughout Jordan. This was precisely the objective of the capitalization meetings that took place early October 2022 in the four target municipalities (Greater Madaba, Greater Irbid, Greater Karak and Greater Jerash).
Following the meetings, REUSEMED project managers in the country praised the fact that in the four municipalities they had extensive experience and expertise in sorting, recycling and reuse of solid waste.
At the meetings, REUSEMED managers presented the goals and results of the project in Jordan. In addition, suggestions were collected from the different municipalities to promote the popularization of reuse in the country.
