The agreement on the cessation of hostilities in Syria announced on Monday 22 February 2016, by the US and Russia, as co-chairs of the ceasefire task force is “good news and a step in the right direction”, High Representative Federica Mogherini said in a statement issued Tuesday 23 February 2016.
For Mogherini, it is now crucial to work on the concrete implementation of the modalities of this agreement.
