TunisiaU-SOLVE Partner in Egypt celebrates the opening of the urban development hub in Alexandria
U-SOLVE partner in Egypt_ Academy of Scientific Research and Technology_ collaborated with the WEF-CAP multi-stakeholder conference in a side event to celebrate the opening of the Alexandria Urban Development Hub.
The event was attended by more than 50 participants from various related sectors, including experts and researchers from all scientific and technological fields, and businessmen who own small and medium-sized companies. The opening ceremony was followed by a workshop on the challenges, such as intellectual property protection and tax regulations that start-ups face in the current ecosystem and a policy recommendation for potential solutions to help overcome these challenges.
This workshop was an opportunity to bring mentors, advisors, policy analysts, and entrepreneurs together to discuss the impact of political changes on access to capital for start-ups, benefiting from tax policies in favour of start-ups, and regulatory changes that can help start-ups navigate the legal and regulatory landscape with ease.
