Yassine is the co-founder of “Bio-Intrants Technologie”, and thanks to EU support, his bio agricultural products will soon be selling across Tunisia. His story is told in the latest EU Neighbours South video, showing how the EU invests in young and innovative minds to build a brighter future in the Mediterranean.

Yassine took part in two EU programmes, the first DiaMed on the integration of young graduates, which sparked his interest in the environment, and geared him towards entrepreneurship. The second was SwitchMed, the green entrepreneurship programme, which helped him with the incubation of his project.

The video is the second of nine interviews presenting the testimonies of young people in the Southern Mediterranean who have benefited from EU projects.

The videos are released on the EU Neighbours South Facebook page, or can be seen on the project’s YouTube channel.

They are part of the #EU4YOUTH social media driven campaign (Facebook, Twitter) aimed at raising awareness of EU-funded youth initiatives in the EU Southern Neighbourhood countries: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia. The campaign targets one million young people in the age group 18-35 in the EU Southern Neighbourhood countries.
