The Delegation of the European Union to Jordan is launching a call for expression of interest: Scoping study on the impact of key local actors on democratisation in Jordan.

The EU is seeking a team of researchers (academic/research centre, think tank, university) to scope a study on the role of specific local actors in Jordan, e.g. CSOs, CBOs, political parties, tribes —with a focus on one or more of these main actors — in a political trajectory towards democracy in the country; the study can look into the perceptions, challenges, aspirations/expectations of those actors and how they are shaping the political trajectory of Jordan.

The study is set to provide an analytical context of the historic and current role of one or more of these main actors in state building and their role and impact on developing democratic institutions and a democratic culture in the kingdom.

Interested parties may express their interest by sending their contact details to the following e-mail address: DELEGATION-JORDAN-PPIS-PROCUREMENT@eeas.europa.eu.
