Canal France International (CFI) is launching a call for application targeted at Jordanian media organizations, to support production and broadcasting of interactive political radio programs. Jordanian media organizations are invited to submit their proposals until May 24th 2018.

In the framework of EU-funded EU-JDID program, CFI will provide support to a Jordanian media organization with a demonstrated experience in audio content generation to produce an interactive talk show that serves as a platform for the Jordanian people to directly interact with their parliament representatives.

The goal of the show is to give a voice to the voiceless and enable the audiences, the Jordanian public, to discuss their interests and concerns with their representatives, get informed about the legislation and the overall lawmaking process and question the MPs’ practices in order to boost the awareness of accountability and good governance.

The EU-funded programme ‘EU Support to Jordanian Democratic Institutions and Development, EU-JDID’ aims at supporting Jordan’s reform process towards consolidation of democracy and at promoting inclusiveness of national policy and decision-making processes. The Programme also intends to enhance women and youth inclusion and to foster a stronger democratic and tolerant political culture.
