Around 20 women participated in a workshop on “Soap Making” organised in August in South Lebanon under an EU-funded project that promotes the role of local authorities in encouraging responsible behaviours towards the environment.
The workshop enabled participants to improve their knowledge on the subject and learn different techniques on how to make soap using natural oils. The workshop was also an opportunity to demonstrate how the newly acquired skills could enable the participants to use soap-making as an income generating activity. (EU Neighbourhood Info)
