The priorities of this call for proposals are (not in order of precedence):

  • I) Supporting youth-led peacebuilding organisations and networks in their efforts to enhance inclusive youth participation and representation in peacebuilding initiatives and processes;
  • II) Enhance capacities of marginalised youth, particularly those more vulnerable to recruitment by armed groups or vulnerable to extremist ideologies, to engage in socio-political processes;
  • III) Fostering a culture of peace and respect for human rights and tolerance as a set of values conducive to peaceful societies;
  • IV) Empowering young women and enhancing their role and meaningful participation in conflict prevention and conflict transformation as agents of positive change at societal level.
