The European Union said the death of two Israelis and injury of several others in a terrorist shooting incident in Jerusalem yesterday “illustrate once more the urgent need to bring new impetus to the peace process, as proposed in the recent report from the Quartet.”
The statement stressed that the EU “condemns all such acts of violence, as well as any praise or incitement for terrorist acts, and extends its sincere condolences to the families of the bereaved.” (EU Neighbourhood Info)
