The EU Delegation in Israel hosted the First Arab-Haredi Business Cooperation Conference this week. The event brought together personalities and businesspeople – men and women – from both communities, many of whom stressed the untapped potential for business cooperation.
As EU Ambassador Lars Faaborg-Andersen said in his welcome message, “These are two communities that rarely communicate with each other, yet might have more interests in common than meet the eye.”
During the Conference, two panels addressed the topics of “High-Tech in Arab and Haredi Society” and “Women’s Businesses in a Religious Environment”.
