The EU Head of Delegation paid tribute to the continuous efforts and sacrifices of the Lebanese Army to defend the country and its people and welcomed the determination of all leaders to put an end to terrorism.

“The European Union will continue to support Lebanon’s state institutions in their efforts to preserve the unity and stability of the country, and the security of its people. It commends the important role that the Lebanese Armed Forces fulfil as a cornerstone of Lebanese sovereignty and in fighting terrorism,” a statement said.
