On the occasion of International Women’s Day – which falls on 8 March – the Office of the EU Representative in the West Bank and Gaza Strip “joins Palestinian women and men to acknowledge women’s critical economic, social, and political contributions and celebrate their remarkable achievements. Throughout the week, EU implementing partners will celebrate this occasion by organizing different activities in Gaza, Jericho, Ramallah, Hebron, and East Jerusalem”, the office said in a statement published on this symbolic day.
