The European Union in Morocco is launching an open call for proposals as part of the 3rd phase of the Support Program for the National Literacy Strategy in Morocco (Alpha III).
The six (6) target regions of the Alpha III program are:
- Marrakech-Safi
- Casablanca-Settat
- Fes-Meknes
- Rabat-Sale-Kenitra
- Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima
- Beni Mellal-Khénifra
The general objective of this call for proposals is to improve the lifelong learning system in Morocco.
- The specific objectives is to improve the training engineering system and the quality of training, in particular by adopting an andragogical approach and diversifying learning methods (including the use of ICT);
- Make effective the socio-economic integration of literates, by setting up bridges to the vocational training system, support for setting up income-generating activities and monitoring of learners;
- Territorialize the national literacy strategy by adapting programs to local realities and improving governance at regional and provincial levels.
