  • Facilitates the establishment of a Euro-Mediterranean Free Trade Area through the enhancement of quality in the Mediterranean.
  • Promotes the development and marketing of quality products capable of withstanding competition.
  • Holds 62 regional training activities for Mediterranean experts on the various stages of quality control.
  • Organises 81 month-long training visits for technical experts to laboratories and 48 training visits to quality infrastructure organisations.
  • Presents the activities of the European Committee for Standardization(CEN) to Mediterranean Partner Countries and around 22 inter-laboratory comparisons, with more than 100 laboratories involved.
