Cybersouth – Report of a study on the conformity of personal data provisions with Convention 108+

Given the strong relationship between cybercrime and the use of personal data, the Council of Europe decided to conduct a Study on the conformity of personal data provisions from its priority countries with Convention 108+ in Algeria, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco and Tunisia.

The Study presents an assessment of the enacted domestic laws on personal data processing and recommendations necessary for an efficient system regulating this matter. The priority countries provided inputs and agreed on the publication of the Study.
