EUPOL COPPS Penitentiary Advisors facilitated a restart of the Prison Coordination Group. The aim is to restart a formalized cooperation between the international agencies and implementers that undertake activities in the field of penitentiary and detention across the security sector in the Palestinian Territories.
The meeting brought together colleagues from UNWOMEN, International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), US States Security Coordinator for Israel and the Palestinian Authority (USSC), Defense for Children International (DCI) and the Independent Commission of Human Rights, (ICHR).
